At university I decided to study politics and cultures and I became very interested in human behaviour and sociology. With my bachelor thesis I dived into the incredible world of sociology, culture studies and psychotherapy and focused on the role that culture plays within our cosmopolitan and globalised society in shaping human behaviours.

After university, I chose to work in marketing and had my very first contact with the digital world in my very first 'big' job.

I came across the concept of User Experience design when I was working at Bally, back in my hometown in Switzerland where - as part of the marketing team - we were asked to work on a digital in-store experience with the iPad.

Then, when I came to London, I had my very first real approach with the fascinating world of human centred design. In my role at Dorothy Perkins I had the chance to work first as digital assistant managing the digital production of mobile & apps (working on the release of a second generation App and enhancing the mobile experience) and then in my UX role I had the great opportunity to work on a big mobile project with Arcadia that included all the different brands. That was the moment when I decided I really wanted to know more about UX, get stronger with this discipline and really deepen my understanding of the whole process. I left my job and jumped into the UX Design Immersive Course at General Assembly. Since then, I can't stop thinking how great it is to work in a field where there is so much versatility, creativity, exploration of human behaviour and opportunity to make a difference.
